How to use the platform

A 9-step walkthrough from empty repository to crowned champion.

Auto-save & audit
Every change is saved instantly to local storage. The bell icon in the header opens the full audit trail for the active tournament.
Each tournament is its own snapshot
Tournaments are stored independently. Switch between them from the sidebar without losing state.
Step 1

Build your player database

Open Players and add everyone who might compete. Players live in one global pool and follow you across every tournament.

Open Players
Step 2

Create a tournament

From Tournaments, click New tournament. Give it a name, pick a sport (Badminton, Cricket, Tennis, Chess, Esports…) and team type (Singles / Doubles / Teams).

Open Tournaments
Step 3

Configure setup

On the Setup page choose the number of encounters (1 = single RR, 2 = home & away), scoring rules, tie-break rule, and playoff format (Top 2 Final, Top 4 Knockout, Top 4 Double Chance or Top 8 Knockout).

Open Setup
Step 4

Pick the teams playing

On Teams, either quick-register a team by typing a name, or click Build from player DB to pick players. Add an alias to rename the team — otherwise the players' names are used.

Open Teams
Step 5

Generate the schedule

Click Generate fixtures on Setup or Teams. The Circle-method scheduler creates a balanced round-robin. If anything is wrong (not enough teams, invalid encounters), an error is thrown and shown on screen.

Open Fixtures
Step 6

Record results

Enter scores match by match or click Simulate all to randomly fill remaining matches. Every entry auto-saves and pushes an audit log entry. Elo ratings update live.

Open Fixtures
Step 7

Run the playoffs

Once the league is done, go to Playoffs and click Generate bracket. The top teams are seeded automatically based on your tie-break rules. Enter scores and the bracket advances itself.

Open Playoffs
Step 8

Crown the champion

When the Final is recorded, the champion banner appears. Click Archive season to push it to the Hall of Fame with the team and player names.

Open Playoffs
Step 9

Export and print

From the sidebar Export menu, download the active tournament as Excel or PDF, take a full JSON backup of every tournament, or use Print current page (with the Printer icon in the header) for a one-page friendly snapshot of any screen.

Open Dashboard

Feature highlights

Everything that makes this platform stand out from a simple spreadsheet or basic bracket tool.

Global player pool
Players live in one master database and follow you across every tournament — no re-typing names each season.
Auto team builder
Pick team size and total teams, then let the builder distribute players from your pool automatically — add dummy players to even things out.
Circle-method scheduler
Creates mathematically balanced round-robin schedules so every team gets a fair rotation of home/away or court sides.
Live Elo ratings
Player ratings update instantly after every result. Track who is actually improving over time, not just who won the most.
Simulate scores
Stuck on a match? Click Simulate to fill random but realistic scores instantly — great for testing or finishing stale tournaments.
Full audit trail
Every score entry is logged with a timestamp. Click the bell icon to see exactly who changed what and when.
All-time statistics
Global Stats and Hall of Fame aggregate every tournament you have ever run — wins, matches played, win rate, and Elo peaks.
Auto playoff brackets
Top teams seed automatically based on your tie-break rules. Brackets advance themselves as you enter scores.
Archive & restore
Archive a finished tournament into the Hall of Fame, export full JSON backups, and re-import them later for a complete restore.
Excel & PDF export
Download fixtures, standings, and statistics as Excel files or print-optimised PDFs for sharing offline.
Print-optimised views
The header Printer icon strips the UI down to a clean one-page layout perfect for pinning on a notice board.
